Update in Prisma
In fall 2025 a major update will take place in Prisma's interface, changing the system visuals and making them more modern. These changes are mostly cosmetic, but will also affect how the system is used to some extent.
This page gives an introduction to the changes that will happen in Prisma this fall.

Prisma has been online and receiving grant applications since 2014. Since then, the system has been expanded and improved without many changes to the visual appearance or interface. The coming update includes among other things:
- That the frontend technical framework in Prisma has received a major upgrade and much of the code has been updated or rewritten completely.
- That many smaller bugs and errors have been corrected.
- That Prisma has been updated for better accessability and usability.
- That many of the modal windows that previously opened on top of the page have become their own pages.
- That Prisma is now responsive to work better on different screen resolutions and other devices such as phones and tablets.
Some changes affect the whole system, for instance the menu tabs have been moved into the grey strip above the main content of the page instead of being placed on top.

The starting page for reviewers has been divided into several pages so that reviewers can find the right information more easily, and to help accessability.

The organisation account has been updated in order to make user- and folder management easier.

Aside from the examples above, the forms used for applications, reviews and reporting will be updated in order to be more accessible and usable.
The estimated release date for the new interface is mid-October 2025. When this happens, more detailed information will be available in this space, as well as an updated user guide. We hope that these changes will make Prisma easier to use than ever.
