My profile

Under My profile in the main menu in Prisma, you can find the menu item Personal information in the left-hand menu. Initially it is populated by the information you added when you created your personal account in Prisma. From this page you can change your personal information, your e-mail address and request to change your Swedish personal identification number.

The information that you add under Educational history, Professional history, Publications, Merits and awards and Intellectual property can later be transferred to your application drafts in Prisma. This information is reusable across funders and calls for applications.

If you only registered to review applications or to work on the organisation account, you do not need to add any merits to your profile ur upload any publication information.

Register a Swedish personal identification number

If you are not a Swedish citizen add your birth date instead of a Swedish personal identity number.

If you need to change or correct the personal identity number you have added in Prisma, you can request to do so. A manual check will be made to make sure that your new identity number is valid. If the change is approved, the new number will be shown on your profile.

  • What happens to my account if I switch employers or my e-mail address?

    You should not register a new account when you switch employers or e-mail address. Update the information on your present account if you still have access to it. If you have lost access to your account, the Prisma support can help you change your e-mail address and restore access to the account.

Adding your educational history

The information you add under the different categories in your Educational history in Prisma, like Research education and Basic education, can be transferred to the CV in your application draft.

If the application is missing mandatory CV- or publication information concerning the project leader or participating researchers, the application cannot be registered.

If you have a Swedish doctoral degree, you also have the option to import your degree from Ladok. A degree imported from Ladok is immediately validated in Prisma and does not need to be validated later if your application is granted.

The information imported from Ladok can be imported several times to Prisma, for instance if there are corrections made to the information in Ladok. Before you can import your information you must approve to share information between Ladok and Prisma. This is done by logging into Ladok and givning your approval there.

  1. Click the menu Educational history in the left-hand menu of your profile in Prisma.
  2. Click the button Research education.
  3. Click the button Import from Ladok.
  4. You will be redirected to a page where you choose your organisation to use for logging in.
  5. Log in to your organisation and you will be given the option to share data with Prisma.

Once your degree is imported, you need to supplement the information with the ISBN number for your dissertation as this information can not be imported from Ladok.

  • How do I change the information imported from Ladok?

    If the information in Ladok has been changed for a post that you have imported from Ladok, you must first remove the post and then import it again to reflect the changes. Remember that the ISBN-number must be added manually for each imported post. You can import the information from Ladok into Prisma several times. Hur hämtar jag uppgifter från Ladok?   • How do I update the information about my education and professional history?

    Navigate to the relevant section in your profile in Prisma. Click the button Select on the row for the relevant entry. Select Edit or Remove from the dropdown menu, dependning on whether you want to make changes to the entry or remove it completely. If the entry you are editing has been transferred to an application draft, the entry in the application will not be updated automatically. If you want the update in your application, you need to remove the entry from the application and add it again to get the latest version.

  • I have added CV and publications to my profile, but I cannot register my application?

    Information that you have added to My profile needs to be transferred in the application form in order to be included in your application. If there is CV-information that is mandatory in the application, you will not be able to register it before you have transferred the necessary information. If you have added participating researchers to your application, they might also need to transfer information from their profiles to the application. You cannot register the application until all mandatory information for the project leader and participating researchers' have been transferred.

  • Why are the changes that I made in my profile not visible in the application?

    If you make changes in your merits in My profile , these entries will not be updated in your applicaiton if you transferred them before making the changes. If you want these changes in your applicaiton, you need to: Remove the updated entries from the application. Add the entries to the application again and check that the changes are now visible in the application.

Add information on your professional history

Through Professional history in the left-hand menu under My profile, you can add your Employments, Post doctoral assignments, Research exchange assignments and Interruptions in research. The information you have added in your profile can be transferred into the CV of the application draft.

If there is mandatory CV-information missing in the application draft the application cannot be registered. It is therefore important to register the CV-information in your profile in good time before the application deadline and make sure that the necessary information has been transferred to the application. Both for the project leader and the participating researchers.

  • Where do I add information about interruptions in research?

    You can add information about interruptions in research, for instance for parental leave, through My profile once you have logged into Prisma. Click Professional history in the left-hand menu. Click on Interruptions in research in submenu. Click Add to add your information. Please do not add any sensitive information in the description as that kind of detailed information will not be requested by the funder in your application.

  • Why are the changes that I made in my profile not visible in the application?

    If you make changes in your merits in My profile , these entries will not be updated in your applicaiton if you transferred them before making the changes. If you want these changes in your applicaiton, you need to: Remove the updated entries from the application. Add the entries to the application again and check that the changes are now visible in the application.

Adding your publications

Through the menu item Publications under My profile you can register your relevant publications. Later, publications that are relevant to the call can be transferred to the application draft.

You can register publications whether they have been peer-reviewed or not. In the next step you make a selection from a number of different types of publications. The selection you make controls which information you can add to the publication.

If publications are mandatory in the call you are applying to, you need to add the mandatory publications to your application. If it is mandatory to add publications for your participating researchers, they must add their information as well. An application draft cannot be registered unless all mandatory information has been added.
