You need to have a personal account in Prisma in order to submit or review applications. You should only have one account in Prisma, even if you are associated with several organisations or have several roles.
Your e-mail address is your user name in the system, and you will receive all notifications and correspondence from the system to this e-mail address.
Researcher: On your personal account you will find the information associated with your applications and grants, like decisions, feedback and Approval of terms for granted applications.
Reviewer: Through the personal account you are given access to the applications you are assigned to review. In the review panel you report conflicts of interest and write assessments. Payment of remuneration is made with the bank information you have added.
Organisation user: If you act on behalf of an organisation in Prisma, you still log in to your personal account to get access to the organisation.
You create your account on the Prisma landing page. Once you have registered your account, a confirmation e-mail is sent from Prisma to your registered e-mail address. This mail contains an activation link that you need to click to activate your account. Your account is also activated upon your first login, whichever comes first.
Sometimes e-mails from Prisma can be found in your junk-mail folder. If this is the case, you should add "prisma.research.se" as a trusted sender so that you don't miss any information from the system. If you can't find the activation link in the junk mail, the Prisma support can help you by re-sending the e-mail.
There are two probable causes for this: Your account has not been activated: Find the original e-mail that you received when registering your account and click the activation link in order to login for the first time. Before your account has been activated it is not possible to reset the password. If you cannot find your activation e-mail, the Prisma support can help you by resending it. The password reset e-mail has been stopped by your spam-filter: Sometimes e-mails from Prisma end up in your junk-mail folder. If the e-mail is in that folder, please add "prisma.research.se" as a trusted sender so that you will not miss any information from the system in the future.
This means that there is already a minimal or completed account registered with your e-mail address. If you have previously accepted an invitation to participate on an application or an organization account, an account was created for you with minimal information. You can activate this minimal account with the information you have received by e-mail. Once activated, the account can be completed.
Invitation to create a personal account
In some cases you can receive an invitation to create a personal account in Prisma through e-mail. For instance if you have been invited to participate on an application or to be an external reviewer.
Your registered e-mail is your user name in Prisma, and you should only have one account in the system. If you wish to accept the invitation, you have the opportunity to click Accept with another e-mail address , in which case you can redirect the invitation to the proper address associated with your Prisma-account.
If you accept an invitation to participate on an application or an organisation account, a personal account with basic information is created for you. You will receive an e-mail with an activation link and information on how to log in. Click the activation link and use the attached information to login to Prisma. Fill out all the mandatory information to complete your account. Click the button Register . Use the login-information from the e-mail to login again once the account is complete. Once your account is complete you can change your password. It is always recommended to change your password since the original password has been sent to you by e-mail.
Completing a minimal account
If you receive an invitation to create an account in Prisma, your account will be a minimal account until you complete the registration of all mandatory information. Using the login-information you receive in the invitation e-mail, you can complete the registration form to complete your account. The e-mail address you have on your account will be your user name in Prisma. You can also add a secondary e-mail for the purpose of resetting your password.
You should change the initial password you received by e-mail through My profile and Password settings.
You should not register a new account when you switch employers or e-mail address. Update the information on your present account if you still have access to it. If you have lost access to your account, the Prisma support can help you change your e-mail address and restore access to the account.

Since your e-mail address is your primary identifier and user-name in Prisma, you can only have one primary e-mail address. This means that all invitations for applications or organization accounts must be sent to this primary e-mail address. It is possible to have a secondary e-mail in Prisma, but this address can only be used to reset your password if you cannot access your primary e-mail.
Click Log in on Prismas welcome page, and then click Forgot your password? in the login window. An e-mail is sent to the e-mail adress you have registered in Prisma. This e-mail contains a link to reset your password. Note that it is only possible to reset the password for an account that has previously been activated. If your account has never been activated you need to contact the Prisma support. Hint: If you have an alternative e-mail adress registered in Prisma, it is also possible to use this e-mail address to reset your password, for instance if you have changed your employer since you registered your account in Prisma and have lost access to your primary e-mail address in Prisma.
Organisation account
All administrating organisations must have an organisation account in Prisma. The administrating organisation receive and administrate funds for granted projects, and are responsible according to the terms of the grant.
You apply for an organisation account. Once a decision has been made, it will be distributed to the e-mail address of the person responsible for submitting the application.
If the organisation account is approved, the responsible person must create a personal account in Prisma if they do not already have one. The organisation account is accessed by logging in to the personal account.
You apply for an organization account in Prisma through the button Apply for organisation account on the welcome page. Note that it might take up to two weeks to receive a reply to your application, and that the creation of the organisation account is contingent on receiving approval as administrating organisation for at least one funder.
